EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Junior Engineer/ P.Way: Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering (Transportation).
• Junior Engineer/ Track Machine Organisation: Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering. A combination of any sub-stream of basic stream of Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering.

AGE QUALIFICATION:
Candidates age should be 42 years as on 01.07.2017.

Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam 2014 - 42 posts

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Examination to select candidates for the appointment as Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. Intrested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 4th November, 2013.

42 posts for Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways

Age Qualification:

• The applicants age must be between 17 to 21 years on 01-01-2014.
• Age relaxations will be applicable as per the Government rules.

Educational Qualification:

• The applicant must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a university or board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
• Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects are also eligible

Application Fee:

• General and all other unreserved category candidates need to pay ₹100/- as application fee.
• SC / ST / Female / PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
• Fee should be paid in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash or using Internet banking. Application fee can be paid in all State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore.

Selection Process:
The applicants will be selected based on their performance in Written Examination and then Interview.
