42 posts for Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways
Age Qualification:
- The applicants age must be between 17 to 21 years on 01-01-2014.
- Age relaxations will be applicable as per the Government rules.
- The applicant must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a university or board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
- Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects are also eligible
- General and all other unreserved category candidates need to pay ₹100/- as application fee.
- SC / ST / Female / PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
- Fee should be paid in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash or using Internet banking. Application fee can be paid in all State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore.
The applicants will be selected based on their performance in Written Examination and then Interview.

Eligible applicants can apply online through their official website http://upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php. After submission of Online Application candidates must take the print out of application form and keep it safe for further reference.
The applicants must fill the Part I & Part II of Application along with the scanned Photograph and Signature at the places provided and Submit the Application.
