Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) invites applications for admission to B. Pharmacy (Hons.) Programme at Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses for 2014 session through BITSAT-2014

The Department of Pharmacy of BITS Pilani, established in 1950, is one of the few early schools of Pharmacy in India.

BITS B.Pharm.(Hons.) programme has been structured to match and exceed the requirements of the Pharmacy Council of India. The programme offers students additional courses which give the shape and flavour of engineering as well as fundamental sciences giving an added dimension to the student’s academics. Alumni of Pharmacy Department, BITS Pilani are well placed in India as well as abroad in various pharmaceutical companies, government organizations like drug control, research laboratories, etc., and in several well-known academic institutions.

ELIGIBILITY CRETERIA:

• 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.
• The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English.
• Admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2014.

APPLICATION FEES:

• The application fees for BITSAT-2014 is Rs.1900/- (1400/- for female candidates).
• Options for payment of fees are given at the website.
