India post Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant online application to direct recruitment

Department of posts are invite applications to Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistants through a Direct Recruitment Examination.

• Education Qualifications: The Education Qualifications to India post Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Candidates must have Intermediate or 10+2 pass with with 60 percent, should be studied Hindi language as a subject in Metriculation and must have English subject in Matriculation and 12th class.
• Age: Age Limit is all candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-10-2012. Age relaxations will be extended as per reservations.
• Fees: Application Fee to General and OBC Candidates need to pay 200 Rupees for Examination fee and 50 rupees for Application fee. To SC/ST Candidates was no need to pay 200 rupees Examination fee. They have to pay only Application fee of 50 rupees for Application form and it is available at all All Head Post offices from and online in www.indiapost.gov.in website from 11-08-2012 to 25-09-2012.
• Selection process: India post Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant direct recruitment Selection Process is based on the performance in Written test in Aptitude and computer typing test. Syllabus to Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant direct recruitment written exam was General knowledge, Reasoning ability, English and Maths for 100 marks. Each section having 25 marks for 25 questions.
