IBPS Common Entrance exam for all banks 2011

There is good news for students who give bank exams each week now there will be only one common bank exam twice each year for admission to all major government banks. IBA IBPS has Decided to introduce a system of common exam shortlisting of the candidates for the selection of personnel in clerical cadre and entry level officer cadre and entry level officer cadre and specialist officers in following banks.

1. ALLAHABAD BANK
2. ANDHRA BANK
3. BANK OF BARODA
4. BANK OF INDIA
5. BANK OF MAHARASHTRA
6. CANARA BANK
7. CENTRAL BANK OFINDIA
8. CORPORATION BANK
9. DENA BANK
10. INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK
11. ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE
12. PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK
13. PUNJAB AND SIND BANK
14. SYNDICATE BANK
15. UNION BANK OF INDIA
16. UNITED BANK OF INDIA
17. UCO BANK
18. VIJAYA BANK

The examination will be conducted by the institute of banking personnel selection IBPS twice in a year for each cadre, the candidates appearing for the examination will be issued with a score card which will be valid for a period of one year from the date of issue. The above scheme will come in to operation for selection of candidate w.e.f 1 June 2011.
